About Sherry Cohen
Sherry M. Cohen, MEd, MSW, LICSW is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from American University in Washington, D.C., a Master of Education from Lesley University and a Master of Social Work from Boston University.
Sherry has worked as a teacher, administrator and
clinician in a variety of settings, including: Fenway Health, Women's Alcoholism Program of C.A.S.P.A.R, Perkins School for the Blind, Medford High School, DARE/Chelmsford, as well as several adolescent treatment and educational programs. She is a former adjunct faculty at Lesley University.
Sherry has worked extensively with individuals and couples. She has provided services to the LGBT & queer community for decades.
Sherry is former Chair of the Newton Human Rights Commission. She has been Co-Chair of the Program Planning Committee, Symposium for the National Association of Social Workers (Massachusetts Chapter) since 2006. She is former Co-Chair of the Nominating Committee of NASWMA.
